About BLR
Beaver Lake Ranch is a small private community established in 1980 in Northern Collin County, Texas. We are ideally located mid way between the growing communities of Celina and Anna Texas, about 10 miles north of McKinney, Texas. The small town of Weston is the nearest municipality and we are actually located within the Weston Extended Jurisdictional District (EJT). Beaver Lake Ranch is one of the few remaining rural communities in Collin County that haven't been annexed by neighboring cities.
The Community
The community consists of twenty five lots of five acres or more that are limited to single family homes. Each of the lots is heavily treed but also have plenty of pasture area for livestock and outdoor recreation. Most lots back up to the feeder creeks or the lake, some even have their own private ponds. All lots are serviced by a privately maintained road system. The community is diverse with residents ranging from young families to retirees. While most lots have been built upon, there are a few empty lots remaining that are owned by private individuals.
The Association
The community is protected by a Homeowners Association (HOA) that allows owners to work together to the benefit of everyone. The HOA enforces minimum standards without insisting on strict uniformity in architectural choices. The HOA has an annual meeting each year during the fall.
